WHY WE LOVE CELEBRATING NEW BABIES.

One Sign Day is a family owned and operated business. My husband Austan and I both grew up in Houston. We attended Houston schools and untimely decided to raise our kids here.

When we found out we were expecting our first son we were over the moon. Shortly after we found out our baby would be born with a lot of health problems. In his first few weeks of life we learned he had a rare condition called trisomy 1. It was a one in a million chance to have a baby born with this genetic abnormality.  In the months following we were in and out of the hospital,   Spending 6-8 months there at a time.  He has had two open heart surgeries, several heart procedures, a G button put in and was finally put on a trach and ventilator. After almost 18 months in the hospital we finally took him home. Our sweet boy Witt is now 8 years old. We've since welcomed two more perfect boys to our family.

Why is any of this important? Austan and I know how important each child is and what a precious gift they are.  I personally have a love for new parents and all the fears and joy that goes into welcoming a new baby.  We love helping family and friends celebrate a new life.  We think our stork signs are a great way to let parents know that you are excited for them and this new life.

We also have a heart for the special needs community.  Because of our son Witt we know how expensive things can be raising a child with special needs. Surgeries, therapy and equipment bills, special schools. We know the bills pile up. Spending money on a yard sign for a birthday might not be how you would spend extra money. We never want the cost of getting a sign to be an issue. Please contact us about special pricing.  We love Houston and its people. Let us help you celebrate them!!
